The 2024 River Keeper of the Year Award was presented to Tanja and Adam Zins at the CWTU Banquet by Bob Jozwowski. Tanja and Adam are members of John Tucker’s Pine River team and have been stream monitoring for 5 years. Tanja is the team’s dissolved oxygen measurement specialist using the Hach Chemical Kit supplied to each team. Her excellent measurement technique has provided very accurate DO reading that are entered into the SWIMs database. The Zins were participants in our Hach Kit training program in June to instruct other River Keeper teams that were having difficulty with the Hach Kit measurements. The training was very successful.
