Central Wisconsin Trout Unlimited is offering this rare handcrafted wooden canoe for sale. This canoe was generously donated to support conservation efforts and Trout Unlimited programs.
Inspired by the legendary E.M. White 20´ Guide Canoe, the West Branch Y-Stern is a beautifully crafted custom canoe built by Island Falls Canoe in Maine. These canoes are built only occasionally by request and often have a 1–2 year waiting list.
This canoe is more than a boat — it’s a piece of craftsmanship and tradition found in collections and waters throughout the United States and around the world.
Features include:
• 20´ West Branch Y-Stern design
• Cedar main body with ash rails/trim and spruce accents
• Half ribs, internal keelson, and outside keel
• Fore and aft caned canoe seats
• Bench seat midships
• Oarlocks and custom rowing setup
• Designed for paddling, rowing, or use with a small outboard/electric motor
• Excellent stability and maneuverability
