Due to construction and space constraints at the Fin ‘N’ Feather, which we just learned of, this program has been cancelled. We will announce a new date as soon as we can.

The program “Labrador – Place, People & Possibilities” will be held on Wednesday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m. at the Fin ‘N’ Feather, 22 W. Main St., Winneconne.

CWTU President Wayne Parmley will present the program. “Don’t be fooled by the title. This is not about what to see as a tourist in Labrador,” he says. “It’s about a bucket-list fishing trip to Labrador, Canada, in pursuit of trophy brook trout.”

Wayne will walk attendees through all the aspects of his recent trip to the famed 3 Rivers Lodge, including the painstaking planning process involved with a remote fishing destination, meticulous travel plans in a post-Covid environment, and, of course, the fishing. If this type of adventure is on your bucket list, this is a chance to learn all about it.

As usual, the board meeting will precede the program from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.
